Yup... I WAS thinking of using a Spreadsheet KC, but there IS something rather nice about scribbling in the journal. (you have to envisage the scene... pen held in a fist, eyes just a few inches from the page, look of furious concentration, and tongue sticking out to one side as I write).

lol I can imagine it well lol, I am going to hoke out the garden diary later and hopefully make a start. Though we might be going to cut sticks tonight, well I throw them into the trailer lol, it's the OH that actually cuts them, more specifically it's the saw that cuts them, it's the OH that feeds the timber through the saw, it is me that hands him the timber to feed through the saw  and me that wings the cut sticks into the trailer talk about heating us twice

Any more recent photos of the way you currently have your roof garden set up? Love seeing it Gives me ideas too lol Your polytunnel looks great. You even have room to shelve up another layer for seedlings my OH would really like to get the polytunnel up over at this homeplace this year, we're going to need to sit down and properly plan that out though, to sort the practicalities out. Yup... if I sacrifice a lower storage shelf, and install a couple-or-three flat/square growlights, I could grow stuff on the lower shelf as well. I'm not sure that will be necessary though. Well... we shall see. The rest of the roofgarden is looking a bit of a shambles at the moment KC, but once it is a little tidier I WILL post photographs of it, because it HAS changed. (ever wondered where the 20+ bakers trays went from the old version of the Polytunnel ? Well... they weren't thrown away.... ). Oh.. speaking of new things... I've started a SECOND blog since you where last here... the Journal of an Onion Whisperer (a.k.a Alliums Aloft).

nice job, you're going to be sooo organised this year. As for the shoe racks, I've got 2 wooden ones which I'm hoping to mount on a piece of wood running along the back of the greenhouse so I can use it for seed trays keeping the bench area free for other things (that is the plan, making it work is another story, but I will take some pictures when I finally get it done )

Ahhhhh... I think I see. Sounds like a good plan.
Yes.. I would love to see the pictures.
Perhaps we should have a special thread dedicated to posting pictures of our greenhouses/polytunnels ?

Good idea, Roofus. I have changes to make in my polytunnel this week. Well.. I know it sounds kinda self-indulgent or boastfull: we're here to support each other, not show off.. and hence it seems contrary to the spirit of the forum in that sense. But here's the thing... Many of the pictures of member's greenhouses/polytunnels/growhouses have really inspired me to try new things. I shall propose it to the Flowers Powers That Be.
