Can I hear twittering in the polytunnel, Roofy?
They have been very quiet recently.

I've been sidetracked with all this video nonsense dianthus There is a LOT of news... but I'll start off with a little snippet. I don't want to give you all indegestion ! Firstly... I think I've identified KC Mystery Seed No. 6. It's Night Scented Stock, and it is wonderful ! I've given some of it to my Mum, along with some other bits and bobs from a packet of generic "polinator attractor" seeds from Wilko's. Here's a picture of it.... you can see the small night-scented stock... but.... does anybody know what the taller purple flowers are ?

Wow... thanks for that grindle. This was grown from a generic mixed seed packet, but it is now on my list to grow for next year. The bees LOVE it ! Roofgarden Update
I've got some LONG overdue news... Some months ago dianthus sent me a lovely present.... and I've JUST got around to releasing it into the Polytunnel !

| The Owls are MOST interested in them !
They are amazing painted... well... I'm not sure.. acetate of some sort ? dianthus also provided me with some remarkable 'invisible thread' to suspend them with. Much fun was had with this. You stretch it out between two hands - with finger and thumb on each end - to try and attach it, and you look like a gardening mime of some sort... 'cos... the thread is.. well.... invisible !
| I went to my usual gardening session at my Sister's... and we erected the home-made strawberry netting I made for her as a Christmas present. Unlike my usual DIY attempts, this actually looked... well... rather good I thought ?

| This is me over at my Parents house thismorning for a coffee. Can't stay for long, as Miss M is coming around later thisafternoon for tea and biscuits, and to laugh at my garlics, which have gone all curly. (I think they are trying to produce seed heads ?? ).

As ever, the pictures are posted on the RoofNet, so you can click on them for a larger version

Looks like the butterflies are camera shy, Roofy
We didn't know Owliver and Bronwyn were twins, who live at your parents', nor that there were a lot of cousins in their family
Biscuits!!!! Shouldn't it be a strawberry tea in the middle of Wimbledon fortnight, and on a Sunday afternoon, too!

Oh fear not dianthus... I think we'll be seeing more of them ! What suprised me is how the butterflies catch the sunlight. (try expanding the second-photo-down on the left)

Well, we have garlic bread, and garlic salt, so I guess garlic pea's are a logical continuation ?

Love the butterflies & the entire owl & chicken family Roofy, those dinky little bottles make good cane toppers too on the strawberry bed!

You can thank dianthus for them... she is a VERY talented Crafter. I'm hoping to chat with her about a method of rigidising the wings so that I can animate them !

All is looking great roofgardener. Night scented stock is stunning. I have so much of it sown this year. Though yours has trailed as its meant to, mine's reaching for the clouds lol
