Now Di, don`t get ratty, it doesn`t become you.    The hospitality WAS good though daitheplant ! And the allotment was remarkable. In terms of the wider association, how big/organised does Ty Canol rank compared to the others ? |

Ha thats was fab, my only complaint is that we didn't see dianthus !!! I tried Rosie .. I really did. But dianthus made it quite clear that it would be a case of appearances vs disappearances. If she appeared on the video, one of her large stirring spoons would disappear into one of my orifices. ( I think she was talking about my nose ? ) And she has some VERY big stirring spoons ! |

Roofus is correct about Dianthus, she is very camera shy, so her wishes were respected. Roofus, if you don`t mind, I have given permission for the video to be used on the allotment groupd website.

(just featuring the allotment ? ) I think there where SOME clips that wherene't used on the video ? Actually... It might be an interesting project to make an actual fully-fledged video of the association and its activities ? PM if if you think t'committee might be interested ? |

Well, whillst the Owls are unpacking, I need to get the Polytunnel tidied up. The Owls are just SO fussy !
| We are well and truly into Polytunnel Phase V ! After a slow start, most of the Mediteranean-type plants seem to be thriving. I've had to 'stop' the larger of the tomato plants (and the others aren't far behind.

The more developed of the tomato plant has produced... tomatoes. (Whoda thunk it ? )

I've got two chilli plants producing fruit. THIS one, however, may be something a bit different. I've got a vague recollection that this is actually a type of capsicum... shaped like a chilli pepper, but much larger. Naturally, I've not labelled it as such. Or perhaps I did, and the original label fell off ?
Thats the great thing about my style of roofgardening; every day is a new suprise.

Well, this one is definately a capsicum ! A second plant is just starting to fruit as well. I've never had much luck with capsicums before... I manged to grow two or three, but most of them suffered from blossom-end-rot. I think this was down to a poor watering/feeding regime, so I'm trying to be more careful this year !

The Little Gem lettuce, the Rocket and the Spinach look good ! As does the pot of "mixed leaves". I feel a salad coming on !
