I'm struggling to get into the flow of work thismorning, so I thought I'd post here instead, whilst having a bacon n' egg bagguette the size of a torpedo !
Big plans for this weekend; a little light gardening at my Sisters (she is away in Australia at the moment; the cat is in the Cattery, so it is the perfect time to poison all the weeds on the patio).
Then it is another round of tidying up on the Roofgarden; throwing away dead plants, washing all the newly-emptied plantpots and troughs, and shuffling things around to find storage space for them.
I may get a new water butt, as the one near the polytunnel is leaking, and - gosh - those plants are using up a LOT of water !
And I may even have a stab at making another Tales from the Roofgarden video... this time about the Polytunnel.
Or I might just loaf around in bed. I havn't made my mind up yet !

I thought I`d heard you say so. He said that he asked you what you thought you were doing on site, and you gave him a load of abuse. The man is confused. I said 'hello' to one gardener, apart from the Sec and Chairman, in front of you, and he said 'hello' back to me and we spoke about the weather and how lovely his plot was, and there was no altercation.
Roofy had someone who objected to the video camera, but I don't know what was said.

The same one who said you gave him abuse. He has been told, in no uncertain terms, that his behavior was unacceptable. He is now very contrite.

daitheplant... if we are talking about The Man With The Hat.. then.... he spoke with ME, not dianthus. Indeed, the discussion occured opposite your upper level auxillary sub-greenhouse (Onion Sector). I don't think dianthus ever went there ? Or at least... not during the period in question ? I WAS challenged by the Man With The Hat, and - whillst I didn't give him abuse per se, I WAS rather firm. (I told him that I thought he was being rude, and asked him to stop. I also felled him with a roundhouse karate kick, and pummeled him with a nearby carrot. However, it is possible that the LAST part only happened in my head ? ) Mind you... I dissapeared for about an hour faffing around with the camera on the run-up to these events... so perhaps I missed something ? Notwithstanding, it sounds like you are describing MY conversation with him, rather than dianthus's  ?
