I think that that is what sweetpea meant to say Roofy!
I have just spent about an hour (probably longer) sewing 2 badges on a sash.
have achy fingers now.
The last part of the badge was a rather nice one...
Decorate a Space Easter egg with stars, moons (“Well I tried….. because it kept falling down.”), shooting stars, rockets and planets. Now all I have to do is to remember to sew on her new badges ;-) p.s. She still hasn't eaten it (but it is wrapped up in cling film).

Guess what HH wanted to do once Pirate had discovered the keys. With help from the girls (collecting up anything that should have been located elsewhere (basically anywhere other than the grass.) I'll be honest and say that I didn't want him mow the grass because I thought that the lawnmower might get broken. (He doesn't like strimming because it hurts his back).
Well I am proud to say that not only did my Wonderful Husband mow the 'lawn' and hacked back a bit more of the bushes with the loppers; he then cooked us a Roast Dinner. I think that I am entitled to sounding gushy after that. Nope won't share him with anyone other than our girls.
We are so lucky.Thank You HH

It looks like it's been dug up by something Moonlight & may be from a rabbit or similar? Perhaps a fox or cat had stashed it somewhere nearby & dug it up to eat in peace at the end of your garden?

Lots of little bits of news today. Things are germinating ( look I used a big word) and my Society Annual Show Schedule has come through.

I remember my Mum crying when Elvis Presley died now Prince Rogers Nelson has died but watching his videos is making me just remember how good he is. Can't believe that he has died.

The lighter side of Prince... On the Muppets
Peforming at the Special Olympics at the Opening Cermony
And coughing on his video (- because he could.) Raspberry Beret
I loved the fact that he did what he wanted to rather than what he was told to by the record companies etc.
Don't worry that I am going to go on about Prince all the time but it is my Diary
Love and Peace.

I am so behind on my Diary but in the briefest of updates.
- My 'Biggie' show 2016 book arrived
- I have started off more of my tubers, about 3 more to go and some are sprouting
- I have sown my 'Class of 2016'.
- HH and the girls have been working on the garden lawn and path. Lots of trips to the green recycling bin.
Not bad for me is it? very brief. Have much more to add but no time that's what happen when you have a busy family by the time everyone is in bed too tired to do the update.

Copied and pasted from the Dahlia Seedlings 2016 thread on the dahlia forum (so a tad more detail I have sown my 'Class of 2016' in the post above.)

Copied and pasted from the Dahlia Seedlings 2016 thread.Hay hoe, if I can get sorted I have a few photos I can add, showing what I do / did when I sowed them.
When I collected the seeds I got confused with the seeds from Ryecroft Zoe, Greenways Zoe, Oakwood Goldcrest and Cherwell Goldcrest - so I put them in the same envelope and labeled them 'Zoe Crest'. Not being an expert I would describe Ruskin Myra and Ryecroft Zoe as similar (yellowy/peachy small semi/cactus). Last year I collected seed from both Ryecroft Zoe and Ruskin Myra and because they looked similar to me and I decided to just go for the Zoe because I thought that slightly darker shade of orange looked nicer than the Myra. I didn't grow it at all this year - I gave the tuber to my Dad. I decided to sow my 2014 Myra seed; if you look at it I think that the seeds look drier / older than the 2015 Zoe Crest seeds. Decided to sow all of the seeds in each packet. As the Myra seeds are a year older there will be a lower possible chance of germination anyway and I couldn't be bothered to leave a packet of 3 seeds and another with 11. So rather than limit myself to 30, I just did them all. (Whether or not this was a good idea - I will find out).
So there you go Zoe Crest and Ruskin Myra - ready to be tucked up in bed.
