Hello everyone, this is HH, Moonlight's long suffering husband.
I just want to let you all know that Moonlight is in hospital. To cut a long story short, on Friday morning she had a seizure. Not an uncommon occurrence given that she has epilepsy. Well anyway this one was different, she stopped breathing and had a cardiac arrest. Luckily Pirate was with her and contacted me and I came home from work and called 999 otherwise she wouldn't still be with us.
Moonlight is in intensive care, her heart is beating and the next step is for her to start breathing again on her own and wake up. They say that she has suffered severe brain damage, but we live in hope that she might recover. There is always hope.
Moonlight spent many happy hour talking dahlias here and I hope that she can return soon.
I'm sorry this isn't happy news and wasn't sure if this was the best place or time to put up a post but felt that you should know. Feel free to move it.

PS I hope she forgives me for posting as she told me I was never allowed to join, but I'm sure she will this one time.

Hi HH, So so sorry to hear such awful news, my thoughts are with you and the family. I do hope Jane is comfortable and makes a speedy return. Her enthusiasm for our chosen flower is infectious. Thank you for getting this info to us.

I'm rather late in finding your post HH regarding our lovely Moonlight
I do hope she gets the rest she needs and recovers as soon as she is able. I'm glad the girls were able to alert you to her distress.

So sorry to hear such sad news, Moonlight I sincerely hope you recover quickly and are able to join us again. To HH thank you for letting us know and I am sure on this occasion moonlight won't mind. Well done to Pirate for raising the alarm - very brave and grown up. We are thinking of you all at this difficult time and hope things improve soon |

Only just seen your post HH.......what terrible experience for you all.....and Pirate being a brave girl and ringing you at work. You must be so proud!!.
Keeping fingers and toes crossed that Jane makes a good recovery. Thinking of all the family at this stressful time. Come on Jane.....get well soon xx

Hello everyone. I have some sad news. On Monday/Tuesday Moonlight passed away. i still feel incredibly numb but the girls seem to be coping most of the time. Anyway many years ago Jane created an Epilepsy website to help others.
