The question of the day is: How big is a pinch? We were told to feed them "The tiniest pinch?" for 2 small fish?

Moving in. Check out what looks like the black spot on the brown tile. It is Speedy! As soon as the bag went in he shot up the fish tank wall - checking out the tank mates and I am not sure that Speedy is that impressed either.

Moonlight from what it says on the food I'd take about 5 or 6 of the big flakes & break them up in your fingers into tiny bits & give them that 3 times a day or a couple more flakes each time if you're only able to feed them twice a day. You should be able to tell if you're giving them too much or not enough after a few days depending on whether they leave food floating or rush up to the top with their mouths open when they see you coming! We had tropical fish years ago & you get used to how much they eat, if you give them too much it starts to sink to the bottom of the tank & starts to dirty the water.

Well I gave them some extra flakes and nearly electrocuted them or myself or the 3 of us by dropping the lid with the light in the water. N.b. No fish were hurt in this event. They have gone back to the food.
Well it made me jump anyway.

Ooops, that's a bit awkward isn't it if you have to lift the whole lid off to feed them, our tank lid was in 2 parts, the back had all the heavy electrical parts & the front lifted off separately & also had a little twist out plastic circle which you could feed the fish through. Looking again at the size of your fish they are tiny so may only get through 2 or 3 flakes between them but 'Speedy' will probably clean up any leftovers! I'm sure you'll find the right amount just by watching them for a few days Moonlight.

He's probably hiding in the gravel/lighthouse/pineapple out of the way until he gets used to them, fingers crossed.

I've changed my profile back. Pirate in particular really didn't like seeing my profile photo without my Moonlight photo.
