sweetpea actually a lot of things are better here and once again I shall have to put up with everything being 'proudly made in Australia'. I wouldn't be proud of the quality of lots of things. The shopping experience of, say, Tesco, is way ahead of anything in Australia. However, some things are better.

I'm sure SOME things are better Cherry but from my experience in the Sydney area EVERYTHIN seemed to be better apart from maybe the funny way of driving.
The cinema, the shopping malls, the service in cafes/restaurants, some of the food,the social life with the RSL clubs, the laid back attitudes of the locals indeed the whole experience.
Oh and the veneration of their armed forces and ex servicemen not like the way they get treated here.
I rest my case.

I'll get around to it eventually
