Glad you've got your 'buzz' back thecrackedpotgardener , I found myself saying 'whoops' out loud when you nearly lost your little tomato plant out of the pot!

That must be very frustrating, thecrackedpotgardener. Still, there will be other shows, and better compost ! I'm hoping to exhibit at the Gedling show this September, but already my Kelsae Giant Onions have failed. Out of 12 that germinated, only two have survived. (and you need 3 for the show).

That is a shame for you both thecrackedpotgardener & roofgardener after all that effort you both put in too! thecrackedpotgardener it seems to be all your seedlings have something wrong and you've done very thing right which makes me think it's the compost. I bought a bag not so long ago which burned the plants - I was told there was no manure in the bag when quite clearly there was. When repotted into other compost they recovered well - could always give it a try @crackedpotgardene

I'm not TOO upset daisy, 'cos all I've lost is the Kelsae's...I've still got some other things that might be show-able (in the novice catagory) but it must be VERY frustrating for thecrackedpotgardener to have suffered such a widespread systemic failure. (and previously for dianthus).

That's good to hear roofgardener! I've been disappointed in the past especially for showing...when things just don't go to plan A and there is no time for plan B
