thecrackedpotgardener as Roofy says your new camera seems to have a very good clear picture & I think the only problem with the sound is that we can't hear you when you move away from the camera to your compost bag etc. I think you would be better making just shorter clips as well instead of joining them into long 20 minute films. With your pumpkin & tomato plants which you think are dying I think they're just stressed by being in too small a pot & being a bit too hot in all the sun we've had recently. You don't need to feed tomato plants until the first small fruits have set either, if you feed them when they are in very small pots & still developing then you can sort of 'burn' the roots & do more harm than good. If you pot them on or plant them in grow bags they will probably perk up.

I've only ever used relatively cheap compost from Aldi or Wilko's, although the shop downstairs also sells Dustons, which I've bought from time to time. I've never really noticed any problems, although being relatively new to the game I wouldn't know what to expect anyway.
Last year I hung old white sheets up in the Polytunnel, which where sufficiently opaque that there where no shadows AT ALL. As another thought; would you consider getting one of those cheap (£10.00-ish) max/min thermometers from Wilko's etc so you can see what is actually happening in the 'tunnel ?

Thanks for the update thecrackedpotgardener ... it's starting to look much better in the 'tunnel, with things growing strongly despite some of your dissapointments with the previous compost and the reaper chilli's. (and sorry to hear about the SD card). I'm intrigued by the freezer and tomato bags (as I was with the toilet-roll inners). No more endless pot-washing at the end of each cycle. But... Egads... hydoponics ? Wow... thats a bit.. elaborate ? I can't WAIT to hear how that goes ! I'm also impressed with the sheer range of things that you are growing. The fleece idea is interesting. I used very thick bubble-wrap for winter insulation, but now I'm noticing that it is reasonably good as a sun-screen as well. Your fleece should out-perform my bubblewrap in both situations ! At the moment, I'm still struggling to work out how to make a video without spending two full days on it; once I've got a bit slicker, I'll have a stab at producing video's with some actual useful INFORMATION in them, rather than my current mode of just waving a camera around !

I'm glad you have found some better compost CPG
You definitely have had the same problem as I had last year, but it took the supplier two months to own up to their problem, and they sent me vouchers, which arrived after the company went bust. As you can imagine, I wasn't impressed. You can read about it in the Compost thread I started last summer.
Your plants are recovering well.
My only concern about your freezer bag idea, is that the light can get to the fine roots, and may cause root growth instead of fruit growth. I have had much better luck with potato yields, when they were grown in black sacks.

Spicy pumpkin beer ? Wow.. that sounds intriguing. How do you make it ?
I liked the idea of the Herb Bed... and you've done a really neat job of making the the wooden trench for it. (I'm rubbish at that sort of thing, which is why the roofgarden is full of improvised recycled containers and bread trays etc).
You might want to try something; when doing hand-held shots, leave the camera locked on the tripod. Collapse the tripod legs so it becomes a sort of very short "selfie" stick, and hold the tripod (near the top) rather than the camera.
This way, the tripod can act as a improvised "SteadiCam".

It's not just ebay thecrackedpotgardener , I bought a mini greenhouse cover like your polytunnel cover from a reputable company, I think it was Suttons, & the same thing happened, eventually all the tiny pieces of plastic fall out between the green string squares but it can still offer some protection. Mine lasted a few years & I ended up sticking a sheet of bubblewrap over the top but it was only small. I think if as you say you just stick tape over the holes in yours it will last a while longer as it's only where the plastic has rubbed against the corners of the frame, it's been a combination of the strong winds moving the plastic & the extreme heat we've had at times which has caused it to fail there but after you've put so much money & effort in I'd persevere with it for another season.

You've had three waves of bad luck thecrackedpotgardener; the compost, the polytunnel, and being away during the heatwave (and the auto-waterers not performing well). Welcome to the world of Gardening My polytunnel blew away and landed 50' away in an electricity distribution station in 2015. (as - indeed - did some of my tomato growhouses two years ago), destroying most of my seedling pots in the process. All of my bottled carrots (bar three) turned into multi-legged mutants this year, and the bulk of my salad and mediteranean herbs drowned. All of my peas died last year, and none of my runner beans produced flowers ! On the Roofgarden, nobody can hear you scream ! We get knocked down... but.....
