He is - but he has a very loud voice! He yelled until after midnight last night. Never mind, he seems to be an intelligent little fellow and he is learning fast. I put his collar and lead on yesterday and we went for a walk round the garden which we both enjoyed. He had two lots of visitors yesterday who all fell in love with him. We took him to see our vet last evening who gave him a thorough going over and said everything was fine, apart from being perhaps a little underweight so we upped his food. He was very happy about that!

I expect he was - knowing pups that age, he probably doesn't sit still long enough to put on weight He is very sweet.

I am very impressed by his intelligence - he is learning fast where to do his 'business' and has been clean and dry for the last two nights! I had an awful scare yesterday - he leaps over the low wall in the back garden, ignoring the steps. He took a flying leap from the low side and crashed into the wall - he yelped and yelped and wouldn't let me pick him up. Fortunately he was OK - I shook for ages afterwards.
When the group visited, several of them peered at him through the window - he didn't like that and ran and hid behind OH, squeaking at them. I expect it was more people than he'd ever seen in his whole life.

a lot of learning to do Geranium , Dylan's first encounter with the garden was to pin his ear to a rose bush He'll soon get used to it all, does worry you though doesn't it

Widget will learn fast. He looks very intelligent I don't blame him for hiding from that crowd of people though. I would have done the same myself !

You had me laughing, Rosie and Eli! I suspect you'll be hearing a lot about Widget's exploits. He is going to be a mountaineer when he grows up. He can clamber over any obstacle we put to keep him in or out of a room, so OH had to install another baby gate across the doorway into the garden room. He was not impressed and actually almost barked - a squeaky one, admittedly. Then he ran off with OH's screwdriver. Yesterday he learned to 'sit' on command - when you consider all he's learned in 4 days, it's impressive. I'm waiting for him to wake up. He's been quite good all night!
