My Loropetalums aren't too happy, even though I fleeced them. I've lost 3 over the years, so I've given up with them I've enjoyed your pictures Louise, makes summer seem a bit nearer

Does it have a nice perfume? I haven't a favourite as I like so many but perfume is important.

It's barely perceptible, sadly, but i have it in fairly close proximity to other stronger fragranced roses and that Gladioli that Carol Klein loves ..... that tall one with maroon centres ..... must have a pic of it somewhere So, although it doesn't smell strongly the area as a whole is beautifully perfumed

My Loropetalums look poorly too, Grindle, and yes, they're fleeced. The one against the house wall is holding up well, but it's not 'Firedance'. The leaves are a pinky colour instead of the rich dark ones.
