That's another lot of bulbs that won't have survived, Grindle. I'll have to remember to order some more. I grow mine in pots - what do you do?

Do you grow your alstromerias in pots Louise and overwinter them in the greenhouse? I bought one last year but kept it in a pot as I wasn't sure how hardy they were

They're as tough as old boots.
I grow all mine outside in my front garden, i have about 15 different ones in all.
In colder areas a couple of inches mulch might help but they're not as delicate as people think.

Except in MY garden, where they don't like it - or me, maybe!

You have some lovely flowers. Thanks Wf Do you have dedicated beds and borders, it's been a long time since i saw your garden I'd have a whale of a time with all your land, i have great ideas for it I was inspired by this forum so tried it once, I was pleased with the result, then we had a hard winter which killed all the key plants, I'm now back to my old method of 'have a space stick a plant in it' I am going to have another go (with help )

Louise there is not a bad plant in that lot. They are quite breathtaking. What plant is the 'pink double delight'. I don't know that one. Actually, I have never seen a white Stokesia.
