Pink Double Delight is a low growing and double echinacea and one of my favourites.
The white stokesia is a fab plant, tough as old boots and very floriferous.
I only go for perennials, incase you're wondering why that's all there is.

Lovely pic's Louise, your Siebaldii is it self clinging or do you tie it in ?? I have a small one growing in the greenhouse.

I think when I planted mine I tied it in to start with, Lesley, then it grew up the trellis and clung on.

do your Echinaceas come back each year? I just can't seem to get mine to grow after the first year, they fizzle out even good sized plants

Lovely pic's Louise, your Siebaldii is it self clinging or do you tie it in ?? I have a small one growing in the greenhouse. It clings to the photinia itself, Les. Only when it was first planted and i'd angled it towards the shrub did i tie it to a stake at the base but from there it entwined itself - as it should. I have another in the front garden and that one twines around an eleagnus and the escallonia hedge - always clinging, never tied in.

Lovely selection Louise, I've got 3 seeds I planted of Cobaea growing in the green house, are they hardy plants ?? I've also noticed today that my Tricyrti is shooting never grown these 2 before. ;D
