I've done a few more 'crafty' things this year as we've been spending more time at home & my wrist which was broken a couple of years ago has become more flexible again. I found a tapestry last winter which I started about 20 years ago & had only got as far as one head on a cat on it, I've done about 2/3 of it now & one day I will finish it! I've also had a go at needle felting for the first time which was something completely different for me, you start with loose unspun wool & stab it with fine barbed needles & mould it into shape adding other pieces in with different colours etc. Also done a couple of coloured pencil pics. Here's the felt Herdwick sheep I made & a drawing of the Harry Wheatcroft rose when it bloomed in the summer.

Thanks Eli & grindle. The felting is something completely different for me, I'd seen some beautiful little birds & animals made this way a few years ago at Mount Pleasant garden in Cheshire & fancied trying it & O.H. bought me a kit to make the sheep for Christmas that year but I've only just got around to trying it. I did end up stabbing my fingers a few time with the needles but the instructions say that's an occupational hazard of it! I have a few bought Christmas decorations which are caricatured felted animals (reindeer, badger, mouse etc.) like the sheep as well & I love them, will have another go sometime as I think it's a case of practice makes perfect!

My old piece of art is now my avatar. Oh that is very good @daithplant you should do some more. I was just watching a landscape painting program today and there was a guy who did a pencil drawing. I think this could be the year I have a go at water colours . I`ve been colleting stuff for years, books paints brushes videos and not even a stroke yet.
