Story finished. Need to do a bit of grammar checking. Not sure if it is any good though.

This is my latest 'craft' project, a little crochet top I've made from a lantern crochet motif which someone showed me online. I've made it up as I've gone along & might add some sort of edging as well, not decided yet but I've enjoyed using up all the little odd balls of wool I've had for years.

That is beautiful work. Learning it on line must have presented some difficulty.

Thanks grindle & Cherry, I had lots of very small balls of wool in pretty colours which I'd kept from magazine 'part works' for making throws etc. years ago but never collected all the magazines or did the projects & a lady on a Facebook forum had put some videos explaining in detail how to do that motif so I thought I'd have a go. I have done little bits of crochet in the past but like these little motifs & have bought a book full of different modern 'granny squares' to have a go at now.

That is so pretty. I wish I could crochet. I have tried many times but just cant get the wool to flow properly.

My latest technique to try was Folded star that uses Prairie Points. This is 8"x8" and is a table centre/heat proof mat. Really enjoyed doing this so will make some more, possibly in Christmas fabrics.

Received the edited ms. of the next book. Needs proof reading. Difficult as you read what ought to be there instead of what is actually there if you are not very careful.

I printed some A6 booklets for a wee group I`m in and last week I had to "recall" they all to replace the center pages . I couldn`t believe it this week when I found several extra repeated lines on a page this week and had to reprint them again.

I joined a crochet class a few months ago but it fell through . i got a s far a learning one stitch. My daughter is very good at it , she makes lovely toys, scarves and jumpers.

Even after both myself and the editor have gone over the ms, I have found another few errors this morning. Minor things, like full stops instead of commas at the end of speech EG " blah blah blah." he said which should be "blah," he said.
