Before tea last night I nipped out with the camera. Snakeshead Frit Primula auricula, grown from seed sown in late 2020. Some flowered in the first year others for the first time this year. One of the clearest blues in my opinion. Scilla siberica

Beautiful flowers, @sua! My Scillas are growing well but I don't see any sign of flowers yet. Mine are a very dark blue, almost as dark as Bluebells. The Bluebells on the balcony are not showing buds as yet but then it is a little early for them.

well I guess it was worth the wait SueA lovely flowers seaburn I've managed to keep one little group of snakesheads going but the rest seem to have disappeared my scillas have flowered well this year but are on the way out now

Just had a look at my Bluebells but nothing more than foliage at the moment. I've also checked out my Siberian Squills & I notice they have lots of buds forming, though deep down amongst the leaves.
