Hi, i am Tel, I am interested in growing dahlias, for showing. I first started showing in 1993 in a novice class at a small local horticultural show. With help from other experienced dahlia growers i met in those early days, it gave me the confidence and the courage to enter more shows, and i have made some wonderful friends over the years, through my hobby.
I joined this forum, to help and encourage, any gardeners, who would like to have a go at exhibiting dahlias, at their local show.
Hallo, I chose my name because I collect hardy geraniums. I have a cottage-style garden of two thirds of an acre which is about a mile from the coast in a rural area of Somerset. We're lucky enough to have a stream running through it. I grow mostly perennials, shrubs and some annuals, and I like to have flowers in bloom all year round. I have greenhouses too - which are usually overflowing!
