What an interesting story Janey. It would have been much harder to be chemical free in 1977 than it is now. You must have been considered a bit of a hippy in fact.

hi steve, plants are thriving - they seem to like my green space and dont seem to have suffered too much in transit/trauma to their systems - and yes cherry, ive been called that a time or two! but these days i rise above it as i know its the best way for my children to have an immune system firing on all cylinders haha! i definitely was the epitome of a seventies child, my mother called it healthy neglect, but me and my brother had the run of an ample-sized sporting estate [my dad was gamekeeper] so my upbringing was slightly more closer to nature than most i suspect! haha
