Do it quicker Cat. See the @ with the yellow and blue balloons, use that and type in the name. The name comes up after a couple of letters.

Hello everyone - joined you this morning after seeing details of Garden Friends on Fifty Plus.
My name is Jan and I live in Flixton, Manchester, if anyone is familiar with this area.
My garden is small but I concentrate on growing perennials, climbers, bulbs and annuals, with just one Redcurrant fruit bush in a pot, and 2 Acers in pots.
Hoping to do Afternoon Teas again to raise money for Macmillan this summer so I'm busy seed-sowing hoping to have a riot of colour -so would welcome any tips and advice. Perhaps I will be able to sell some plants too on the day.
Only problem is, we are plagued by grey squirrels around here.
Look forward to getting to know you.

welcome to the forum Libralady . I had a very sucessful plant sale a few years ago and got great tips from this guy`s blog www.robsplants.com/sale/selling.php The best selling tip I got from him was if the plants are not in flower make a label with a picture on it . I used broad sellotape to cover the small printed pictures and added a thin stick made from old lolly sticks.

Hi peony - nice to 'meet' you too - very friendly welcome for me today. The squirrels are a pain - they chewed the roof off my corner garden shed and I had to have it re-roofed. Got my own back though - planted a prickly climbing rose over the shed which seems to be a deterrent.
