Self-sown nuisances, I'm afraid floydie - the first one looks like an elder, plus its close up, also the last ones. I get the next one too - some sort of currant I think. Still a nuisance. Not sure about the sucker climbing on the chain-link fence, but it looks like an ash to me. Get rid. Is that one of your hydrangeas? I can't tell if the sapling's part of it or a separate plant.

The one down from the chain fence is a sapling of some kind. Funny as I didnt notice any of these untill I really started on the gardens.

It could well be a pink flower - I think it's a flowering currant - a Ribes sanguineum. You might want to think about trying to transplant it elsewhere if you like them. As it's self- sown, it might not flower, though - well, not for ages!
That one in the fence could pull the fence over if you don't remove it.

I think i'll attempt to move the flowering current (It can go somewere in the front) the others can be chopped and be used on the fire

Oh dear Floydie I've tried cutting off the tops but the *****y things always grow new shoots again the following year. Next door to me they have 2 ash trees and they seed around, I've learned to spot them when they are very small now so that I can dig them out before the roots head for middle earth!

I agree with Peony - we have two weeping ash trees, and I find seedlings in all sorts of odd corners. I try to keep an eye out for them, because it's soooo much easier to pull them out whan they're small. Yours will be very difficult, I reckon.
