I got a bag of B&Q's peat free compost 2weeks or more ago and have been using it for potting on my seedlings etc and potting up new plants. Now everything i had growing in it is dead or dyeing  including my Lily's (is now brown and black) and my Texas blue bonnet seedlings . Oh and also my canna Lilly (hadn't started growing but was firm when i potted it is now rotted) . Just a warning as I don't want everyone else to have the losses i have. I have more plants to try and save tomorrow but don't think many will survive . Oh and the compost i have removed from my containers stinks to high heaven! |

I still have a little bit unused in the bag so i am going to phone and complain. (Ive used nearly 70L so think of the damage). I'm going to take photos of all the losses email them on and tell them I want replacement plants & compost. I am not happy  But I dont know were the recipt is . |

If they don't reimburse you for all your losses you should suggest to them that you intend to contact 'Watchdog'

I can't imagine what it has in it, floydie - but I'm very sorry to hear that you've lost plants because of it. You certainly deserve some compensation!  |

They will contact me shortly, I'll be phoneing in the morning before i set to work trying to repot and save the other plants in it.

Good luck with it all. Make them DO something, not just say it was all your fault! An apology isn't enough in this case - I wonder if anyone else has complained?

My mum got some too she said it was crap, ive told her to check her plants. I think you will be shocked by my photos. remember that lily just a few weeks ago.
