Thanks, Rosie. It'll take a long time to get my stamina back, but I'm on the way!

You may never be 100% Geranium, but now your garden will have you to look after it longer now, if you had declined the operation, who knows. Be patient and think of those extra years you have ahead now.

I just thought you might like to know that I was discharged by the Cardiac Nurse team today, after 8 (weekly) cardiac exercise sessions. I can get in touch with the team at any time if I have any concerns. They're saying it'll be up to a year before I get my health back - and even then, it won't be 100%. Well - it's a lot better than the alternative! That is good news Geranium ;D

If it is just dodgy knees that worry you now, you have done very well Esther. I am sure your optimistic nature helped in your recovery. Your holiday will be very welcome this year I am sure.

Thank you.... I'm down with my daughter this evening. We're all set for our trip on the boat to Hampton Court tomorrow! It'll be a real treat. ;D Which days are your open days, Pam? Really pleased to hear about your good news, by the way.
