I've caught a teenager in my garden a couple of times (looking shifty), he says he is looking for flowers for his mum or sister and then says he needs to get his car because he is on a push bike. Needless to say he never returns with his car.
He/they must have brought tools with them because the tin couldn't have been removed with out them.
It is satisfying that he/they went to all that trouble for nothing but it will still cost £10 to replace the tin.
It gets pinched about once a year.

It wasn't a proper shop. I sow lots of seeds, take loads of cuttings and devide plants in my garden, my 'shop' is where I sold all my spares. What a great idea !

It was a great way of keeping my plant growing under control, it covered the cost of my gardening and I've met some great people.

Little b*****s WLF I potted up some primrose plugs that arrived ,took a tray of the colourful geraniums and a tray of trailing red geraniums - I struggled to get the red ones as the plants are very poor this year- might have to start with new stock in the spring Then I made a start on clearing out the pot plant greenhouse ready for the trays of cuttings as it is a bit too warm in the other greenhouse. Remind me not to plant purple velvet petunias with other plants next year They are very good on their own but smother other plants [/color] Esther...don't plant purple petunias with other plants next year, they tend to smother your other plants ;D ;D

I've been weeding and tidying up some paving that had gone wonky. And I planted a holly cutting. I've never been able to get holly cuttings to root I gave it some gritty compost so I hope it will 'take'

I've been weeding too - and dead-heading, mainly in the Osteo bed. There were quite a few weeds coming up in there - I found a nasty bramble - or should I say that it found me!

Ive had a full day in the garden today first time for ages . Dead heading, weeding, chopping back, collecting seeds, pottering about in a day dream deciding what to do next , emptied one of the tatty sacks (got a good crop in this one enough for mash ;D), picked some runner beans, potted on, planted out and watered everything. Oh I mowed the lawn and trimmed the edges too.
