I've been taking down an old arch which was rusty and only held together with some string and bean sticks I've got plans for the little patch now. I'm going to make it into a seating area. I'll show some photos of it when I've got round to puting them on the computer.

Did nothing in the garden yesterday to busy elsewhere. I did intend to go down to the allotment yesterday evening, to cut what ever dahlias i had but did not feel like it, too tired. I was going to give this show a miss today, but i have to return last years trophies, so i will go down to the allotment as soon it is light enough to see if i can get enough for 3 vases.

The OH is in the process of building me an indestructible table for my new money tin, I was only allowed to be the laborer ;D It is all reinforced with metal so it can't be sawn (they did that one year), it is made from 3x2 so it can't be broken, it is too large to load into a car and the tin is surrounded by wood/metal so it can't be levered.

Well it is keeping him busy and the ideas seem good. This happened to a little stall in Feltwell Road on the edge of Southery. However, after a few times when the money box was stolen and the stall ransacked, they gave up which is a great pity. They were good at farming flowers and veg, have loads of chooks and enjoyed doing this in retirement. We were all deprived.

That should stop the little b*ggers W.F.! ;D No gardening today but I went to Bents garden centre. They sent me an email the other day as I'm on their mailing list with a code to take in to get a free £10 voucher from their customer service desk, I thought it would have a minimum spend or something but it doesn't you just can't use it in the restaurant or concessions. I didn't buy anything today but will probably spend it on some bird food from there, we just stopped in the cafe for coffee & cakes!

'twould make a nice potting-up bench, hope nobody with a pickup agrees ! It must be very disheartening when someone runs off with the cash when good honest folk put their money in. I think I'd install a PIR linked to a buzzer or to a high pitch squeak that Tonka hates....to alert him. Or, maybe a CCTV, but then they'd probably nic that too. Hope you have more success with your fab new bench.
