sorry lesley not at the moment I haven't my phone wasn't working and our camera needs new batteries will try and get some soon Finished out the front, it will still need more plants in there but it looks so much neater without the grasses, I will still need to repair the retaining 'wall' but it will have to wait until the plants are finished for the summer and the boundary wall needs painting again, now I need to attack the little garden on the side of the house

That looks like an entry for the 'basket of produce from my garden' section of a show lesley , lovely trug too! All I did was water everything in the greenhouse & pick some tomatoes for tea. Wish I'd mown the lawn before it was due to rain today but it was still a bit soggy at the far end yesterday.

It is a lovely trug lesley, I was wishing i had one today like that - instead of a pink mixing bowl - to put my beetroot and carrots in! Plus my first cucumber - also my first I've ever grown by myself, although I know I helped Mum with them when I was a kid. I should've done many useful things in the garden today, but it was nice and sunny and so many bugs, bees and butterflies were out, I mainly just messed around with my camera taking pics of them instead.

Hope you have a good time grindle, you should rope them into helping in the garden while they're there! All I managed to do in the garden was to mow the lawn in the afternoon when the grass had dried out a bit in the sun & breeze & pick some tomatoes for tea.

lesley are they Victoria plums by any chance? I failed miserably as growing one, as the supermarkets don't sell a good cooking plum IMO!

They very much look like Victoria plums to me @willow. I've just been picking some myself from my tree in the garden.

I trimmed the little box balls in the front garden & dead-headed, weeded & cut back a bit some of the plants in the borders, fed & watered the toms, chillies, aubergine & cucumbers in the greenhouse & picked some for tea (everything comes with 'side salad' at the moment - lots of toms.! )
