Floydie, to buy some plants in flower, or not growing them from seed, is not cheating. Next year they will be established anyway.

Mine were cheating if allowing the greenhouse to bring them on quicker is considered such ;D but were planted as bulbs last year and definitely not shop bought in flower

I think that is a good idea really. It is now that the colour is needed after all and early days is when every flower is admired and appreciated. I have those bulbs too, but mine will be much, much later.

I can see buds on my min. daffs....only leaves on the tulips....it is very early for these ....they are lovely Steve ;D

Got loads of bulbs late last year and never got around to planting them out so potted them up temporary....there will be many more pics to follow of species Tulips and such ....(in pots) ;D

It's so nice to see all these spring flowers from you all ;D love that tulip I potted up lots of bulbs, tulips and narcissus, I just have to wait for them to flower

Life is coming back to northern Scotland..... I think this looks like the plant in little shop of horrors Primulas. I think the bulbs that are poking through look like tulips. time will tell

They are so pretty Pam, I love our native primrose, i am trying to germinate some but i never seem to have any luck.
