I got my first Cymbidiums there, daitheplant. An amazing display of Orchids of all kinds - well worth a visit. When I worked in the garden centre, I used to buy my Orchid stock from them. Of course, I had to go and pick out the plants I wanted personally. The scent in the place is stunning when they are all in flower.

Just a couple of photos from me. Anemone hupehensis 'Queen Charlotte' Phlox divaricata 'White Perfume' Finally, this is the pretty foliage of the 'extra' Abelia grandiflora 'Confetti' I bought earlier this week. No sign of flowers yet, but it's only a small plant.

I am so out of date Geranium. I did not know Abelia could look like that. I always think of a few flowers at the top of each branch and many dead flowers and uninteresting foliage. Queen Charlotte is good looking too, but I like all the Anemones. I like all Phlox.

Lovely anemone Geranium, mine are all singles and don't make such a good show. I can't make up my mind whether I like the Abelia or not, I think I would like it as long as it didn't grow too large. I'm sure you will place it well, but I can imagine I would get it in the wrong position and it wouldn't look good

I think it will look even prettier when it flowers, peony. I'm surprised you don't like Abelias, Cherry - I've had one in the garden for years and even when the flowers fall, they leave the attractive calyxes behind, which are attractive in their own right against the bronze foliage. They do have a habit of sending up tall shoots, but they're easily pruned out.

I think I have killed it, but it is the calyxes left which make me think of dead flowers. However, this shrub was invaluable for filling out vases.

I don't dislike Abelias Geranium, it is the pink tinge to the edges of the leaves which made me think it might be difficult for me to find the right spot for it, you have a 'good eye' for placing plants so that the colours blend well with the surrounding plants, but I do like the bronze foliage in this photo

Geranium that's a very pretty Anemone.

Geranium that's a very pretty Anemone. I am just wondering, maybe its because Brenda cut them back, after they finished flowering. I have never seen them flower at this time of year either.

Maybe that's the reason. Plants do seem to flower again after being cut back. My pink ones have died back on their own, but the white one is still full of leaves. I've been afraid to cut them off.
