I'll order some with my bulb order, then. I should do that soon, I suppose! Thanks, peony.

A lot of people like Leycesteria, but I'm in the minority and don't. There were three in the back garden when we came, and I soon realised they'd have to go. Firstly, the shape of the shrubs when they flopped wasn't pleasing, then the birds made a terrible mess which got walked indoors and the final straw - Henry decided he liked the berries as well! I'll probably get shot down about Leycesteria... Anyway, here's my new Alstro - 'Princess Camilla'. and Clematis texensis 'Queen Mother'.(Very regal today! )

I like you clematis. Lots of varieties on sale in Aldi I noticed. I never got around to growing Peruvian lilies more's the pity but perhaps one day. Did have lots of day lilies though.

Geranium you have an ally. My husband was called in to kill my Leycesteria which he enjoyed doing, but it is growing again and there are seedlings in my pots and all over the garden. By the way, I am changing my mind about Abelia. I found a pink one which I didn't know I had and it is nicer than my plain white one.

I`m not a fan of Leycesteria either, it`s also known as Chinese nutmeg, geranium. Yucca gloriosa Variegata at the statue garden this morning.

I was sorry I couldn't get 'Princess Kate' as well, @hywel. I've tried getting a pic of her. Let's see if it's worked. (It did!) I'm really pleased I'm not the only one who dislikes Leycesteria. Cherry, you're right about seedlings! One arrived on top of my 10' wall behind a large Viburnum tinus and as I can't possibly reach it, there it will have to stay. daitheplant - what a magnificent flower spike on that Yukka - does it flower every year?
