I haven't got one but I did download it to my laptop to see what it was all about, those with phones that can download apps can also get it free too....having it on your computer sort of defeats the object of having an electric book you can take on a plane or train but it is easier to read with a larger screen....also there are many free books (some gardening) to download too www.amazon.co.uk/gp/feature.html/ref=kcp_pc_mkt_lnd?docId=1000423913

I'd only heard of them a week ago, have only just got a faint inkling of what they're about now I hate technology really and rebel against these things for ages - before i eventually decide to investigate and decide i need it !!!

That's how I felt about computers, according to the media they're outselling paper so it looks like they're here to stay. From what I've seen I think they have a lot more to offer than paper though personally I wouldn't buy one as I don't read. I wonder if this new technology will result in people reading more.

No going back there then G, I'd like one that reads it out for you then I could get on with my 'jobs' while reading ;D A novel idea but probably already out there. I've just googled 'novel' as I thought it meant original or clever but it just says a book!

Grindle that is a very good reason to have a kindle. I have never thought that there would not be so many books lying around. I always have two at once for different moods.
