Ah, but if he gets me an iPad, he'll want to play with that, won't he!

Enjoy, Lou - and let us know how you get on. Merlin, he wouldn't dare to buy anything for me to wear - I'm very choosy. ;D

Very well so far.....read a few chapters in bed...much better than tussling with a book ;D There is a vast library of books to trawl through, some a free. I'm hoping there are some decent gardening tomes to download ;D

Is it something you have to get used to because it seems strange at first?

I thought it might be strange using it...but it was quite easy and strangely calming. The only problem I foresee is spending a fortune on books ...got another free one today.....on soil

In spite of those who say it will never replace books I recon it will be like the 'tanner' and short of a massive sun-spot blowing out the Internet, we'll all be Kindling by the fireside.....one day soon. The same applies to all my CD's At present I'm listening to Motown hits...groovy! well not so much groovy, more 'cloudy' tech. Records, Tapes and CD's, all obsolete! Lou you've helped me to find a presie for OH

I was one who thought they would never replace books....but your original query got me thinking....so I have to thank you I was lucky I had a lot of nectar points which more or less paid for it.....and I have ordered a nice leather cover to keep it in......It also means I have thousands and thousands of books to choose from without having to go to the library ;D
