I'll try anything once (almost) snails, frogs legs, horse, shark, chitlins, tripe, brains, a lot of odd things I wouldn't try a second time. I think I'd draw the line at an eyeball.

When I was young, we ate a lot of things that cannot even be bought now - tripe and onions, sweetbreads, lambs' fry (liver) and when I came to Scotland, tongue. I even cooked and pressed tongue. I love haggis, but it is a dish that many don't want to eat.

These dishes are still available....we have lambs fry quite regularly...won't eat tripe though....my parents used to love it I love haggis too The most unusual things I have eaten are squid and swordfish.

A bit like WF really ...... i've had everything there except horse - there's no way i'd eat that because i'd not be able to take the living animal image out of my mind. I've not eaten anything odd really ! I've eaten these but i'd not call them odd ........ squid, oysters, mussels (adore all shellfish) , shark, snails (despised texture), frogs legs, alligator, catfish. The oysters have been eaten in 2 unusual ways though ...... Once on a fishing boat in Africa where i was eating them as fast as they were being caught and prepared The second time in Florida where they were layered in a small shot-glass, with vodka over them in one layer and then tomato juice over them in another layer and ...... glug, glug, glug - just throw them back I managed 12 ..... yes, it was a competition ....... at 11am ...... and i was 29 years old

I'm a bit cowardly when it comes to it, although I have tried snails in France (didn't like them) and squid (didn't like that either) but I do like lambs liver, mussels, and pressed tongue

I'm a bit of a coward when it comes to trying different things, but I did eat raw squid in Tenerife, i've also eaten horse meat with out knowing it, it wasn't until i'd eaten it that my husband told me what it was, I've never had it since. Never tried frogs or snails or oysters.

No, nor me. I like a slice of toast with both marmite AND marmalade on it! I used to burn toast to a cinder and eat it with marmite - yummy!

Once in Singapore I ate cat although I didn't realise what it was at the time or I wouldn't have. Rather tasteless and bland I thought. On jungle survival courses we ate some wired things but I can't recall exactly what now. Maybe the mind has blanked it out. A bit like WF, I will give most things a try. At a Chinese wedding we had about a dozen courses of food dished up and most were unrecognisable and it wasn't good manners to ask what they were, you just tucked in and washed it down with Tiger beer ;D ps nearly forgot. I've had to eat my words on more than one occasion ;D

My husband has no bother with horse meat which does look good at the market near our friends' place. He loves snails. Uugh!
