I have a corydalis which has seeded itself freely around the garden. I can't remember the name...it has very feathery leaves and the flowers are white with a red marking

Hmm...I have Corydalis ochraleuca - like this - but it hasn't got red on it! And Corydalis lutea - like this - but it's yellow and Corydalis flexuosa 'Purple Dragon' - like this - but it's blue And Corydalis cheilanthifolia - like this - but that's yellow too! So what on earth is yours, Lou? ;D

I'd promise you a seedling or three, Grindle, but for some reason, they don't like being dug up and potted. I did succeed with a few in 2009, so I'll have a go in the spring. You never know, do you?

WF suggested that I should post some wider views of my garden - so here goes. Here's the stream from the front path looking right towards the wooden bridge. And from the wooden bridge back to the old stone bridge. Standing on the path looking across part of the front garden. Looking across the front garden to the garage hidden under a Parthenocissus, and my greenhouse area behind the fence and gate. From the front garden down the path into the side garden. Looking into the back garden - the smallest area of the whole plot. One of the borders in the back garden. I hope that gives you an idea of what my garden's like.

You have a beautiful garden Geranium, with some lovely vistas, and it all looks so uncontrived (although I can imagine how much hard work went into achieving that "natural" look) ;D

Thanks, both. It is a lot of work, yes, but I love seeing it cared for. ;D

That would be wonderful.....I love your part of the world. My mother was a Wiltshire Lass. The next time we stay with our friends in Frome perhaps?
