I expect there might be seeds available, though.

We've got two-thirds of an acre, WF. I think I could handle up to an acre, but no more. That won't happen, though, because the farmer who owns the land at the side and back of us won't sell any.

Apparently, this house used to have a lot of land originally. Shame it was mostly sold off.

Today I was very happy to find that my Iris reticulata have started flowering. Carol Klein reckons that they don't reappear the following year - well, they do in my garden!

I'm posting photos of last year's pics to remind me of the names of the ones I have.

I have harmony that has been showing off for at least 10 yrs now. ;D some are in pots and others are in the ground. so why people dont think they come year on year I dont know. though I. dandefordi [spelling] doesnt always come through.

These are just a few of the named Iris reticulata, and I shall be looking for different ones to add to my collection. Last autumn I planted 50 mixed bulbs in the narrow border by the front path. It'll be interesting to see which ones I have!
