Does anyone know where I can get Ruskin respectable from?? I would like to order a few plants of theis variety Thanks Candyblue, are they for showing? if so they are not a easy variety to grow. This variety needs a double stop, so you finish up with a minimum of 16 stems, any less than this, if you are showing at a show that judges to the NDS rules the blooms will be over size How many plants are you wanting?

Just set up another 20 dahlia tubers for cuttings. There is no room on the heated bench for them, so i placed them on the windowsill, in the spare bedroom, near the central heating radiator. This brings the total of tubers set up, to 155 for cuttings.

G'day...I have been shopping this morning. Bought 2 dahlia tubers, following the advice on here I looked for the best looking tubers, firm and stocky they are. I have Bishop of Oxford and a windmill one...Tahoma Star. I've got the heated propagator in from the shed, it's been thoroughly cleaned and I'm running it atm to make sure it's still working...hope to pop the tubers into some fresh compost tomorrow as I'd like to have a crack at taking cuttings now I've seen Tel's expert advice...thank you.

Excellent choice of dahlias...I love the windmill ones......If you find you have too many cuttings....we could perhaps do a swap? ;D
