G'day...I have been shopping this morning. Bought 2 dahlia tubers, following the advice on here I looked for the best looking tubers, firm and stocky they are. I have Bishop of Oxford and a windmill one...Tahoma Star. I've got the heated propagator in from the shed, it's been thoroughly cleaned and I'm running it atm to make sure it's still working...hope to pop the tubers into some fresh compost tomorrow as I'd like to have a crack at taking cuttings now I've seen Tel's expert advice...thank you. Tahoma Star, it is only in the last few years, that these varieties have been increased. The NDS classification is the Star Dahlia. I hope you get plenty of plants from your cuttings CPB.

The National Dahlia Society, have relaunched their website. They are going to start a blog page, where anyone can ask Questions on dahlia cultivation to a team of experts. Looks like i am to be made redundant again.
