Went down to the allotment this afternoon, to clear out the dahlia ground tubers that had been stored in there covered in 4 layers of fleece. This is what i found. Squelch They are all on the compost heap now.

Oh yea........ BTW.....some of the cuttings I have taken from the "Westons" miniature cactus seem awefully pale......Would it be a good idea to start feeding them once they have rooted......this is a query for all rooted cuttings? Perhaps a foliar feed?

Perhaps a foliar feed? I find my Trelyn kiwi's are pale, but they all green up later, so i do nothing with them, if in a few weeks they are still pale you could try nitrogen feed.

I am trying to register for government related business, that is, I'd like to supply plants to local/central government. Having completed numerous web site pages detailing my enterprises equality policy, its ethnicity policy, its faith group policy, its sexual orientation policy, as well as all the 'corporate' guff you can imagine, I have to have a "Quality Management Statement" to detail: • Customer focus • Leadership • Involving people • Process approach • Systems approach • Continual improvement • Factual decision making • Mutually beneficial supplier relationships I want to scream!!! I want to sell you some plants, not construct the London Crossway Rail Project! Without this an enterprise will not even be considered as a potential supplier; no wonder the country's going down the pan when small businesses have this to put up with. Think I'll go back to Dubai, very enterprising and entrepreneurial!! (Couldn't grow dahlias though)

It would be easier to sell arms to Libya, than sell dahlias here.
