been ordering quite a few perennials from Secret gardening club as they've been having some good bargains. These are the ones I picked up at the garden centre last week, the smaller ones are looking a bit sad, but they all have new growth at the base

My latest was a Tiarella from Plantagogo. Vicky and Richard Fox [Chelsea Gold medal winners] came to the East Yorks HPS group last week to talk about Heuchera, Heucherella and Tiarelle. We had a brilliant night. If you dont know them then google Plantagogo. Hide your wallet though if you like this group of plants.

Just placed my order for the sunflower seeds to support the Ukraine, latest delivery from online supplier was a selection of Airplants, I know they're not for the garden but I'm running out of space for indoor plants, decided to start a new selection that do not need a lot of space....

I've had a look at Plantagogo, A lot of their stuff seems to be out of stock at the moment but maybe they'll have them available later in the year. I think I'll send for one or two, they have some nice ones

Couldn't resist this hellebore at RHS Bridgewater yesterday, after seeing your lovely yellow ones Eli & grindle I realised I hadn't got one in that colour & they had a few on sale there.

Lovely yellow one SueA. I've got an Ashwood seedling that flowers in pale yellow. It glows in the semi shade. This will get you lots of pleasure.

I have received a lot of shrubs from Norfolk Quality Plants - Ceanothus, Viburnum Eve Price and a prickly Berberis Darwinnii to annoy my neighbour who said I must leave a foot next to his fence. Ha ha. This will hurt. For my back garden which is not hot and can be part shady - 2 Hydrangea Annabelle, Philadelphus coronavirus aureus and a Trachelospermum. There are more to come. Hopefully my fence will be painted in Cuprinol Shades Seagrass next week. If it was last year, I would have had it done, but I am limited by my ‘dickie’ heart.
