I went to one of my favourite nurseries yesterday to see if they had tomato plants but they didn't have any, so I bought two Fuchsias instead - but I probably would have bought the Fuchsias anyway

The Begonias Dragon Wings arrived a day later than expected. But I quickly potted them up and now they look good. 👏👏

I have never bought plants before online. But last week I bought some Begonias 'Dragon Wings" . Though they arrived a day later than I was expecting them I was very surprised that they came in a small plastic box that the postwoman put through the letter box! I was rather taken aback (to say the least & my face must have been quite a picture!) when I saw how small they were! The plants were in good condition though but a little limp. The rootballs had started to become a bit dry - well they were so tiny I couldn't believe my eyes at first! No more than a couple of cm cubed! (probably less than an inch cubed) They had included in the box a thick leaflet with instructions on how to look after them &how to make sure they grow on well. The trouble with the leaflet was that it is made of thick absorbent paper & therefore robbed the plants of moisture! A couple more days & they might not have been salvageable.
I potted them up almost immediately & they have perked up no end! They look like proper little plants now! So I'm hoping they will grow & flower as expected!
Please don't laugh too much as this is the first time for me! I've only ever bought seeds online up till now - I've not even bought bulbs yet!

Again I can't see the 2 photos I've included in the post above on my desktop computer - I can see them on my mobile phone though!

They look nice and healthy balc2
I bought this in B&M Bargains ... Daphne 'Royal Crown' I'm not keen on the name but it's a pretty plant and can be grown in a pot. It has red berries after the flowers.
