The Dragon Wings Begonias seem to be doing alright after their ordeal through the post to me! In a couple of weeks I'll put hem outside on the balcony for the summer.
I haven't purchased any more plants - for the moment! - but my son & daughter-in-law gave me a nice Peace Lily for my birthday a week or so ago. I'm thinking of dividing it as the pot is really overcrowded & there are lots of roots poking out of the drainage hole.
Here are a couple of photos of it:

How strange! I can see my photos on my phone but I still can't see them on my desktop computer! But I can see other people's pictures on my computer! Edit: Now I can't any longer!

Thanks everyone for your belated birthday greeting! In regard to the photos I uploaded but couldn't see on my desktop computer - well, for some strange reason I can now see them on the computer & not just on my mobile! I went through the setting on my Firefox browser but couldn't see anything that could affect them!

I picked up a couple of campanula plants and an armeria reduced to ยฃ1 in the 'sale' section at Homebase yesterday. They had quite a selection of decent healthy looking plants yesterday rather than the half dead ones you usually see on the reduced trolley's.

Yesterday I bought a bag of Daffodil bulbs in Sainsburys. I may well buy a couple more of them over the coming weeks to put in the planters around the cash machine close to our block of flats. I'll write a post about them in another thread later. (Guerrilla Gardening"!)

Yesterday I bought a bag of Daffodil bulbs in Sainsburys. How things bring back memories - every August Beryl would say "It'll soon be time to buy bulbs" . It was one of her favorite things to do .
