I bought 'White Swan' last year when Rosie Hardy came to our Garden Club, I'm hoping it will flower this year. I received 20 beautifully packed Mimulus Magic Spring Blossom plugs this morning ;D

We had a coffee in the cafe at a GC on the way to Bristol - and they were just unloading some new plants from the van. I fell for a beautiful Erythronium revolutum 'Knighthayes'. I also got three little Dianthus at less than £2 each. This is the irresistible Erythronium. ;D

It sounds as though 'White Swan' is a very popular plant! It's supposed to be hardy, so fingers crossed for them all, especially yours, Rosie.

I had to visit St Albans this morning and couldn't possibly drive past Aylett's GC without calling in I still had some garden vouchers from Christmas so used these to buy a Trachelospernum jasminoides to put in the space left where I removed the Solanum 'Glasnevin'. Also bought Chrysanthemum 'Allouise Pink' and a couple of blue Nemesia. When I arrived home I found the postman had delivered 20 Begonia 'President' plugs, and 6 super plugs of Calibrachoa 'Hawaiian Summer', so I'm going to be busy this afternoon ;D

bused it to Lisburn today and got another bus to Dobbies . Unfortunately somehow I missed Dobbies , and found myself back in the bus station again . I don`t remember falling asleep and all the the bus man said was "if you didn`t know where it was you should have said " not a lot of help there then £1.50 wasted . Anyway walking past a florist I spied 50% off bedding and bought some nice sized sufinas and fuchsias for 80p and saxifrage for 50p, so it wasn't a total wasted journey.

I have tried several times for grow a Erythronium from seed , but sadly failed, no germination . I think I may have to actually buy one .

Go for it! I have planted this one so I can see it from the Garden Room. I have 'Pagoda' but it's up near the front gate so it's not in view.
