The Nursery brought the plants, which I set up and watered. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I fell for a plant I'd never heard of before. It's called Westringia rosmarinifolia, and it's Australian - do you know it, Cherry? It apparently needs sun and well-drained soil, which I'm able to provide, so I planted it in the new wall border.

Yes it is deciduous but the foliage is a really good bronze. As it is normally £10.75, you are laughing SP.

I don't recognize it, but it looks tough and prettier than first glance. Do the leaves smell like eucalyptus? My Drimys does, and a lot of Australian plants smell like this. Taste it too. You are lucky to have a good nursery nearby.

I agree - it's a lovely idea, SueA. It means you can see all the plants easily. Cherry, I haven't sniffed at the leaves, but I need to move it further along the wall so it's in sun all day, so I'll try then and let you know. They only brought two of these, and the other one was snapped up by one of the first visitors! I might ask them to bring a few more for next week.

Not a brilliant photo - but a picture of the whole plant wouldn't show the pretty flowers. I moved it along the border yesterday morning. I sniffed the leaves, but they didn't have an scent.

Geranium, you can see why it is called 'Rosmarifolia' and the flowers look almost geranium like. I can see why you were taken by it.
