Oh dear ! Thanks for that Geranium. Maybe I'll put it in a pot. That gives me an excuse to go and buy something else, to fill the space under my holly tree

You don't need an excuse @hywel! I wish I had some gaps to plant up. That is a pretty Euphorbia and quite unusual.

Bought 3 little heathers the other day, to replace some old scraggy ones I had in pots for a long time. They remind me of holidays in Scotland as a kid so I like to have a few, - the ones I brought back from Aviemore and other places have long since kicked the bucket. I bought 'Leprechaun,''Sir John Charrington' and 'Foxii Nana' partly as I liked the names but also they were cute little plants... I'm not sure you should call a plant cute, but they are! Small and fluffy looking. I was given Penstemon 'Pershore Pink Necklace' today by husband - very pretty! I think he probably thought it was too tbh he likes foxglove-type plants. Apparently they're pretty slug resistant, which should be good in my patch. It's lovely. Husband training going well

Oooh, I like that, Bess. Please let me into the secret of 'husband training'. It looks as though there are plenty of shoots for cuttings, too.

That is pretty Bess. The Heather's are pretty too and they are my favourite flowers.

The heather centre at Dulnain bridge is brilliant and have tons of heathers for sale

No, I don't really Cherry but sometimes I feel a bit guilty about buying so many plants ... Well, what else is there to buy ? I like those Heathers Bess. I've got a few in pots. Like you, I bought one last year because I liked the name. It was called Winter Chocolate. Made me feel sort of cosy ...

I think the little nursery I went to at Aviemore was called Inshriach Nursery - out behind the town, very secluded and took Dad and I a while to find it. That would have been about... 9 years ago, gosh! So I expect it's changed like crazy.

Very pretty penstemon Bess & yes they are fairly slug/snail resistant, at least they manage to survive in my garden against the army of slimy little critters!

I used to go there when it was known as Jack Drake's nursery and I still have a Primula and Cornus Canadensis which grew near the gate there. The Cornus does not like the hot weather here and is a small pot only at present.

Last i have purchased Rose plant and tulip plant in January and i am very happy with that. I love flowers and i would like to take care of plants. I always provide sufficient water to the plants to grow up.

I'm glad to see Inshriach nursery is still going strong, it was gorgeous. One of my main memories of the place is, it smelt lush - being out way back in the pine woods, with no car fumes - all green and damp and woodsy and so clean.
