That's a pretty Clematis Geranium. I have just recently bought five different Clematis for my garden, so thats none...to five within a fortnight! They are: H. F. Young, very large mid-pale blue flowers. Fond Memories, palest pink with deep rose edging. Rebecca, rich and deep velvety red medium sized flowers from May-Sept. Madame Julia Correvon, rich pinky-red typical four petalled viticella type. ...and just today Blue Angel, beautifully puckered light powder blue flowers like an extra large viticella type.

I'll post some pics of Blue Angel as cut flowers if I can find a thread for cut flowers. If not, I'll just have to create it!

I have 'Blue Angel', Fractal, and it meanders through two Spiraea, a Hebe and up into the Aucuba. It's a very healthy Clematis! I'd never have thought of cutting it.

What a lovely sight, Fractal! This is the Echinacea I bought last week. I found the label and it's Echinacea purpurea 'Sundown'. It's the perfect 'tone' for the stream bank colours. The other Echinacea planted last year has flowered - it's E. 'Cheyenne Spirit'. I posted its photo here because it's right next to 'Sundown'.

Thanks Geranium. I'll have to take a few shots with my better camera instead of the mobile

Yes, Tel, I think I prefer it to the white one I've got. I must look out for one like yours.

Love the colour of your Campanula Tel, you got a real bargain there. I often buy plants when we visit my daughter in Norfolk, they are much better value there, bigger plants for less money! Geranium, that's a very pretty Echinacea, haven't seen one that colour before. SteveN, your parents' fence with the brick pillars and lovely plants is very attractive

Ooooh, what a lovely Campanula, I want. Adding that to my list of plants to keep an eye out for.

You've all bought some lovely plants recently. My most recent one is Euphorbia cyparissias 'fens ruby' I bought it, and also a cactus, when I went to Carmarthen on the bus this week. I always get people looking at me carrying plants on the bus when I go there ... I don't know what they must be thinking (and I don't care !) I'll have to take a photo of it to show you. I'm going to plant it under a holly tree where there'a a very annoying gap at the moment.

I hope it isn't a thug, @hywel. I have a Euphorbia cyparissias which most certainly is! Mine would fll your garden, let alone the annoying gap.
