Best of luck Tel . Long wait but let's hope it is worth it They do say good things come to those that wait ! I would be very pleased if either one, managed to finish in the top 10 in the trials.

All been well, I should get the trial results by the end of this week. I wonder if Dave Bates will have Garden Friends in his review of new varieties, in the Garden news when its published.

Hi Tel, I have been informed that the trials results were ratified yesterday and David Bates will be writing to you this week. There were approx. 47 entries this year and the scoring was very close with only a couple of points separating the top ten entries. It ha been a long time coming but you will be put out of your misery soon.
Sorry I cannot tell you anymore

Tel I saw blyton Valentine at Kent. Dave s has been trialling it. Lovely colour in the flesh . I have to say the blooms in picture stuck in the foliage. Would put me off buying it. The foliage itself look nice and healthy. I hope garden friends has medalled.

I do not think its fair though, for those that bothered to send plants to the trials, to find the results on facebook first.

I totally agree with that Tel. There is no reason for people not to be contacted before it goes on facebook if not email there is such a thing as a telephone! I find that rather insulting.
