You are ahead of me steve. I want some for Moira and Jeremy coming in the first week of August, so I hope mine hurry up. ladybird kindly sent some Sungold seeds, so mine are well on the way. Tel sent Goldstar seeds and the plants are coming on very well with the one near the door slightly behind the other in the middle. He did not sow his, probably with all the house moves, so I will send seed back from mine. I have only two ripe tomatoes - one Tomatoberry and one Gardeners' Delight.

I have one tomato ripe on my Tropical toms. I need one truss to ripen in time for shrewsbury in just over a fortnight so I don't think i'll get one this year. Shame, cause the trusses are really good.

Scrumpy, you really need that truss. Is it just one truss, or a few tomatoes in the class? I think I have heard that a ripe banana placed near the tomato helps it to ripen. I could have dreamt it though.

The tomatoes in the allotment greenhouse have the blight again. That's not good news Tel I'd give it a miss for a year and see what happens the next.

That looks too good to eat, you are getting far too good at producing show quality Actually I feel really sorry for my poor tomato plants. Must be more organised next year. If not for me, especially for the children.
Shall I tell you something even funnier? It is sitting in a bowl next to me on the settee! Even funnier than that its got the remote next to it as well! Straight up! I'll take a photo. Some misc. children toot, A show schedule, map and newspaper torn in half.
I'm a woman with a one track mind. Actually Steve you have reminded me of something I needed to do. Too many things to think about all in one go. Hay Hoe.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with these tomatoes? They all have the same patch at the bottom.
I've got a little girl who wants to know what is wrong with her tomatoes. We both thought I should ask the experts.

Picked a couple yesterday, hopefully a few more tomorrow. They taste good because we should have a lot of these this summer.
