Cherry just a thought - when you put the paddle in the machine you don't press it down on the thingy too hard do you? My paddle gets stuck in my loaf but the loaf always comes out of the tin ok I'm probably not helping much - sorry I will check this next time I make bread Esther. Thanks for the tip.

It is what you put on the bread that causes the problems. I have to have butter, preferably with no salt, and my neighbour's honey. For breakfast, I have two slices of toast, one with Vegemite and one with home made marmalade.
