I can see a minimum of 40 cuttings off the first cut on Garden Friends so far. Sounds good. I was reading about cuttings last night. I would love some pictures to see how they are done is there a book or video or something I can look at. For future reference mind!

There are videos on youtube Cat Also look on the Jack Gott dahlias site at the top of the home page there is a section on taking cuttings.

Mine too...Karen G,Paso Doble and Edith Jones...now shall I wait and start them off or get them on some heat and try for some cuttings? anthonyk, have grown Pasadoble for the last two years, a lovely looking flower, but found, if you didn't keep an eye on it, the stems get very leggy and weak. Found, growing 16 to 20 up, produced a strong stem and a lovely flower . Hope you have a good season... Good luck

Thanks all. Starting small so I don't scare the OH! originally there was not a plan for a bed there but patience is a virtue.
