Or was it 'I say that was a little silly' or maybe Tel you shouldn't be let out on your own without supervision He he. Maybe that could be a new class at the show, one for the outdoors on the car park whilst the judging is going on 'Dahlia tossing' Giants through to poms. I can think of one or two candidates for that one, they are right tossers

When the exhibitors did not agree with their judging of the exhibits.

I really do think the variety would grow better on the compost heap along with any other variety with the prefix of Hillcrest.

It may be strong but I can live without them. Oh and if you think it will affect my judgement as a judge then no you are safe there I will judge as always what I see before me. I still believe Jersie will do very very well but I will not be winning with it and I have 50+ plants. I will not be showing a bloom of it.

Been to plant sale and I've been to my Dad's and have come home with a more dahlias than I was expecting to. On the shopping list front the only thing that I was after was an Oakwood Goldcrest which they didn't have so I couldn't get but ended up coming away with 7 plants. Including a erm a Candy. I wanted to get one from my Dad but my Dad didn't have any spares, so I ended up buying one. I've also brought home some dahlias from my Dad's. So instead of coming home with 1 plant it feels like more of a boot full. Happy Days.
