Che has been ill all week and so I have been off work but not able to anything so when the sun shone this evening I took 5 to enjoy all our dahlias that are having another flush even after the slug/snail devastation. Such bright cheerful flowers. I can't thank Raymond ian and Tel and Halls of Heddon ( for my small but high quality order) enough ps I can't seem to tag Dave H of H on this post please can someone catch his attention for me

Your comments much appreciated Cat. Thank you. Ours are all still flowering despite some cold nights. Fantastic show of butterflies last week and even today. We had 5 types on one variety last week.

Most welcome dahliadave . I am most impressed by how many pollinators we've had this year since having dahlias. Both my neighbours got some dahlias too. May be the little guys may just revive in numbers with a little help

There was a nice article about dahlias in the Telegraph Gardening section yesterday & dahliadave's Halls of Heddon got a mention as a good supplier. It was mainly about David Brown saving forgotten dahlias when they had gone out of fashion & forming the basis of the National Dahlia Collection, interesting article.
